Founded in 2021
myAvro was founded four years ago with a single aim: to bring better technology to the UK, European and North American markets.
Decades of Experience
Between the four founding members, we have over 80 years of mobile technology experience, from building phones to securing complex networks. This is translated into a first-class service for our customers.
A Competent Team
Once all is said and done, it almost always comes back to teamwork and skilled human beings behind the technology.
Between the UK, Guangzhou Province and Hong Kong, we have a hard-working, established team that gets things done. No more translation issues or delays, but a well-oiled machine that you can rely on and trust to deliver on schedule and at the highest quality.
No more adapting existing devices to fit your needs. No more paying through the nose for consumer hardware that is designed purely for looks and therefore fragile and designed to fail. No more battling to install what you need and then struggling to manage it. myAvro brings you devices that are designed from the ground up to deliver what you need in your line of business: usability, durability, manageability.
No more differing SKUs, specs and pricing for each global region, giving you headaches and multiple additional costs. Once device (phone, tablet, watch, ring) fits all and works on each and every network around the world. Whether you need devices for North America, Europe or South East Asia, the SKUs, specifications and costs are the same.
Most devices today in medical trials are adaptations of consumer devices and therefore pretty, but not rugged. myAvro provides certified hardware that is not only microbial - lessening the chances of contamination to the users - but durable, in fact tough as nails, water-resistant to al least IP-65 and secure, both physically and virtually.
The future is here, but most users aren't. Almost all devices utilised in clinical trials today are only 4G-enabled, mostly due to component costs. myAvro supplies 5G-enabled devices at better costs than our competitors supply 4G, allowing customers to future-proof their portfolio and utilise the fastest, most reliable networks of today, as well as legacy ones.
Simplicity is key, efficiency is vital. Fed up or struggling with manageability issues with multiple MDM suites and programmes? That ends here, as, with myAvro, one management portal does it all, across your phones, tables, watches and rings. Monitor and manage your entire portfolio through a single pane of glass. Doesn't that sound more than just tempting?
Multiple sims from different network providers in each region around the world? Now, that's a nightmare. Hundreds of contracts with different Ts&Cs, data allowances and minutes, some with roaming, others without. Sim cards lost in the post or broken. This is all fixed with such ease: a myAvro device with an on-board e-sim that works anytime, anywhere and on one contract for all!
Traditional clinical trials are so very prone to errors, both in data collection quality and above all, user-based. Subjects might forget to input data as and when required, or may do so in an incomprehensible manner. Inputs may not be accurately timestamped, if at all. Errors like this lead to data that is inaccurate and, frankly, useless. With a myAvro device, it is almost impossible for subjects to input incorrectly. Data is collected in real time, stamped, and available centrally with immediate effect. Any potential anomalies can thus be addressed on the spot and eradicated with confidence.
Multiple device brands and versions give vastly differing uptimes per charge, and device battery lifecycles. myAvro devices provide long-life usage with predictability through uniformity, as well as the option for hot-swappable batteries. No more running out of juice at critical times; users can swap their battery out in minutes with zero downtime whatsoever. Uninterrupted data is better data.
myAvro offers lower minimum order quantities than those who provide generic, consumer hardware. We offer you customised - yet standardised - hardware with in-built software and features to have your subjects up and running in moments, without the commitments of millions of Pounds or Dollars up-front. Build a device portfolio steadily, at your pace and pay as you grow.
All in all, what myAvro provides you with is a long-lasting, hard-wearing, reliable device that reinvents the game, bringing a standardised approach to clinical testing. More uptime, increased data accuracy, a single platform to educate and support subjects on, and crucially, reduced costs.
When it comes to cost versus reward, myAvro really is the tech partner of choice for your clinical trials.
CROs have been using technology in trials for some time now, but the industry is by no means close to a benchmark standard as yet. Devices are typically disparate, unmanageable and insecure.
We're changing the way it's done, upping the standards and giving control to those who need it.
myAvro combines aesthetics with longevity, supplying rugged devices that are IP rated for weather & dustproofing and made with microbial-grade materials. Lifecycle is key.
No more need for multiple apps and platforms to manage numerous brands, operating systems & add-ons. Stay in control with a single dashboard to manage your device network.
The security of your hardware is something that we take very seriously. With a purposefully-designed platform, you can rest assured that your devices are as secure as is physically possible.
Clinical trials on humans are nothing new; they have been taking place all over the world for years now. Whether undertaken by pharmaceuticals, medical boards or professional testing organisations, many thousands take place each year. However, are we always seeing the most accurate data and results?
Until recently, studies showed that there was only a 68% accuracy level in the data captured across EU-based drugs trials. This was mainly due to anomalies in reporting, eg: manual entry errors, completely missing data, illegible written answers, lack of clarity on exactly when a negative effect took place and many other factors.
With reporting that isn't precisely time-stamped, the data collected may often not be correlated to an exact time or event. For example, a dosage was taken at 12:10 and the individual reported feeling unwell later that day, but a lack of precision failed to highlight that this was a daily trend 20 minutes after dosage.
Keeping on top of multiple devices, across a variety of concurrent tests in numerous countries or regions can prove to be a real challenge, even for the most advanced CROs. So much so that some trials are ended early or even abandoned altogether, or restarted at extra cost to those running them.
If the subjects in a trial are reporting via electronic device(s), these will almost certainly be from multiple vendors, with different platforms, operating systems, settings, user interfaces and so on. This makes it costly and difficult with regard to management, training. maintenance and manageability.
As with the point before, but this is actually a huge issue overall. If devices are not standardised, there is a huge opportunity for user error and it's more difficult for support teams to provide clear and concise resolutions. One device brand, one operating system, one platform and these issues are eradicated.
Be it physical or cyber, it's not easy to give or loan your subjects devices - be it phones, tablets or watches - that are secure and robust. That is, unless you are providing them with hardware that is built precisely to be robust and that comes with cyber security of the highest standards already installed.
